Chicago – Sightseeing and More Food

Chicago is home to deep dish and despite the argument that it might not even be pizza and my affinity for NY thin crust, had to get it while here. Pequod’s is highly rated and didn’t disappoint.

Afterwards headed towards the Magnificent Mile, not for shopping but to find a place called Waffle Cafe. They just started making a “wonut” – a waffle that is deep fried like a donut the glazed. By the time we got there only had green tea left, it was pretty good.

From there walked through Millennium Park and the Art Institute.

Of course all this walking made us hungry, tried to go to Mindy’s Hot Chocolate but they weren’t open so settled for some donuts.

From here headed to Andy’s Jazz club for some old school Jazz.

Ended the evening with a few tapas at Vera.
