London – Dishoom

For our last night in London met up with two of my English friends for a bit of pub/food crawl. Started at the Lamb & Flag for a few beers then made our way over to Dishoom, a very popular Indian place that doesn’t take reservations. After finding out the wait would be over an hour we went a few blocks away to Cafe des Amis for some appetizers and another round of drinks.

Made our way back to Dishoom and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The food was properly spicy which was welcome considering I think American Indian restaurants are never spicy enough. I had no problem eating Indian food two out of our three nights in town.
