San Francisco – La Folie

La Folie is restaurant where they don’t seem to make smaller courses when you go from the three to five course option. Our table had a three, four, and five (my option) and I was struggling after the 3rd course. Thankfully there is always room for dessert so only wasted some of the fourth course, the quail and squab roti. Overall the food was very good and it’s got a very good mix of pushing the boundaries of French cooking. The snails were an especially fun presentation and not that difficult to eat considering in the middle of the beef bone.
