So after spending EIGHT hours at Newark airport needed to get lots of food quickly. I was originally there early to fly somewhere else but the flight was delayed for mechanical reasons. I scrapped that plan since would have arrived too late and came to the Lone Star state a day early. Coworker recommended a few Tex-Mex places and Chuy’s was near my hotel.
Vastly different from what I was eating in NYC but just as good. The chips were so fresh and crisp I had to resist eating the whole basket before my combo meal of taco, chalupa and enchilada showed up. The only thing that was disappointing was their hottest salsa didn’t have much kick. The raspberry margarita was great, would’ve had more if didn’t have to drive to the hotel.
