After taking what felt like an eternity to get back to Cusco from Aguas Calientes and having a shower, we walked a few blocks to Museo Del Pisco. I happened to meet the owner at a pop-up in Seattle a few months ago and he gave me a few suggestions on where to go in Cusco and Lima but of course we had to first try his place. They have an option to learn from one of their awesome bartenders how to make your own Pisco Sour and I of course jumped at the chance. It’s pretty simple and thankfully I didn’t spill anything or break any glasses. While the menu is small it more than makes up with care of ingredients and great flavors, the three dishes we had were more than enough. The live music was entertaining but sadly started so late we only stayed a for a few songs before having succumbing to the siren song of our beds.
