Seattle – Tavolata: Wagyu Sunday Feast

Tavolata does a monthly dinner on the first Sunday featuring one main product. Even though I spent most of November eating fabulous food, and lots of beef in Argentina, and we spent the weekend in Vancouver eating tons of Chinese food the menu for this dinner was too good to pass up.

Everyone sat at one long table and the servings shown, save for dessert, were shared between four people. It was an insane amount of food and it was so good I had trouble pacing myself through the meal. It could have ended with the skirt steak which was in the appetizers and been happy. That and the tartare were my two favorites but the broth in with the ravioli was the best singular taste.


Carpaccio, oyster, blood orange, calabrian chili


Tartare, white anchovy, Taggiasca olive


Skirt Steak, grilled romaine, Taleggio crouton, cracked pepper


Beef Cheek Ravioli, trumpet mushroom, leek, beef fat brodo


Spaghetti, meatball, tomato, buffalo mozzarella, basil



New York Strip Loin, carrot, celery root, onion, red wine sauce


Short Rib Ragu, polenta, horseradish, balsamic


Ricotta Cheesecake, balsamic, black pepper strawberry compote
