New York – Nobu

My first experience with Nobu was at their Las Vegas location way back in 2000. I’ve loved their rock shrimp tempura and black cod miso ever since then, along with everyone else in the world. This was the first time I’ve gone since being introduced to Bamboo Sushi in Portland who had a similar black cod miso on the menu that K and both agreed was a tad bit better, maybe since the fish is from the North Pacific eating it much closer to the source helps.

Today was supposed to be an all seafood day to make it light (a joke once you see where we went for dinner) but the special menu had pork belly on it so we had to order it. It was very good, along with everything else as always.
